The "Medical Gas Association" (MGA) exists not only to provide a focal point for the dissemination of information but also as an organisation dedicated to the promotion of study, training, research and standards in all aspects of medical gases and, through which, liaison with relevant official bodies will be facilitated. The Association's motto is "Vital to Life" to reflect the criticality of medical gases.
Membership of the MGA is open to all individuals engaged in occupations related to the use of medical gases in healthcare, or who are professionally interested medical gas systems and their applications.
The aims of the MGA include the circulation of an editorial, an Annual Technical Symposium and the provision of a web site. This will contribute to the CPD requirements of its members and provide a forum for discussion, presentation and dissemination of a wide range of related issues.
